Horizon Tuition Redbridge is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in our care.
Horizon Tuition Redbridge takes its safeguarding responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff are subject to enhanced DBS checks before commencing employment. We follow KCSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education) and Working Together to Safeguard Children guidance.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Karon Grant, who is responsible for all safeguarding matters at the centre and is the first point of contact for any concern about a child’s welfare.
If a child is at immediate risk of harm, call 999. Concerns can also be raised directly with Redbridge Children’s Services.
All staff and volunteers with unsupervised access to children hold an enhanced DBS certificate, renewed in line with statutory guidance. Parents may request sight of certificates at any time.
We never photograph or film children without explicit written parental consent. No images of children are published publicly without prior written consent.
